CREATING CHANGES THAT MATTERS.

STRENGTHS THAT DISTINGUISH DILTS + PARTNERS

We advise a wide variety of organizations and enterprises as well as government agencies, institutions, and foundations on their processes, organizational practices, and strategic desires. Combining formal training and research expertise, we collaborate with clients to harmonize these three areas to help them create pragmatic, long-term, sustainable value to their clients.

Our Expertise

1. Alignment of organizational goals, Objectives, and execution

When studying processes within organizations, we commonly discover that there are mismatches among organizational goals, objectives and execution systems. Our expertise is in finding and eliminating such “barnacles” in systems, in realigning current systems to achieve organizational mandates, and in demonstrating how performance improves in aligned organizations.

3. Portfolio and performance management

Portfolio and performance management tools are some of the most critical factors of organizational success. We assist clients in creating and populating portfolio dashboards, in using such dashboards to identify areas for additional investigation and in creating corrective plans for any area of concern.

4. Theory-driven organization redesign

To facilitate improved organizational designs, we assist organizations in developing theory-grounded yet pragmatic solutions. We use such theories as Ashby’s Law of Requisite Variety, Lewin’s Freeze Model and Kotter’s Models of Leading Change in-order to create novel solutions that fit with the unique organizational needs of our clients. Additionally, we use systems engineering concepts as AS-IS and TO-BE modeling to arrive at solutions.

5. Work with government and NON-PROFIT healthcare agencies

For over 15 years, we have worked extensively with governmental and non-profit healthcare agencies on such activities as organizational redesign for higher effectiveness, development of new processes for faster throughput, and training for increased organizational communication. This gives us an in-depth knowledge of the requirements that such novel environments require.

6. Clinical trials planning, project management and enrollment/accrual tracking

Since 2006, we have assisted organizations on clinical trial planning, enrollment tracking and project management of such trials. Our expertise is in identifying any initial barriers to enrollment, monitoring trials to gain early signals of potential problems, and creating solutions to close any enrollment gaps.

7. Reducing the time and effort to open clinical trials

We have shown that the successful enrollment of a trial is significantly impacted by the time required to open the trial. With this in mind, we work with organizations to identify barriers, eliminate them, and develop plans for reducing time to open a trial. One of our clients has been able to cut the time to open a trial by 50% with our help.

8. Application of Lean, Advanced Analytics & Systems engineering

Along with theory-driven management solutions, we utilize the proven ideas found in Systems Engineering to design and manage complex systems for our clients. For example, we extensively use AS-IS and TO-BE process maps that directly link to organizational goals (see Process Maps section). We build models of complex systems to test alternatives before attempting to apply such solutions in an organization.
